update Penguinet as soon as possible

Hello users of PenguiNet! There is an update to PenguiNet ready to go containing a small number of relatively minor bugfixes, but without any new features.

This update could be released immediately, or it can be held back in order to spend more time developing new features.

Good news! We will definitely release v2.3 in 2009 Q1. I have pencilled in 1st March, but the actual release date will depend on our testing. I wil confirm the actual date as soon as we have the release candidate.

... I just looked at my old files - and found I downloaded PN v2.13 on Feb 5th, 2005. and the date of that file was (24-July-2003)

... So, the PN v2.23 that has the date of 08-Sept-05, must mean 08-Sept-2005 (Sept 8th, 2005)

... I also vote yes, to release the bug-fixed version as soon as possible. New features are nice, but bug fixes are a necessity, yes? :)

... By the way, what is the date of PN v2.23 ???? Enquiring minds want to know... well at least two of us enquiring minds want to know. :P

I vote for releasing it. When was the current version released? The date is '08 Sep 05', Is that September 5th, 2008? or September 8th 2005?

braddeicide, how many lines of scrollback do you have set (in Tools|Options)? How much memory does your machine have?

In it's current state i need to keep falling back to putty. I'm very happy with current feature set, just not performance (resizing window causes it to sleep for a very long time)
