Allow inheritance. I group my ssh sessions together and would like to have an easy way to change passwords among all sessions when my password changes. If I could change the password at the top of the tree, it would flow down to the sessions under it.1 vote
I didn't set password yet after a restart, it's prompting me. What am I supposed to do?1 vote
I have a high resolution screen. When I set "Hacker" font to size 14 on the main bar it adjusts the font to an acceptable size. Then I close it and have to reset the font size every time I open the program. How do I set this permanently?
I have long used Absolute Telnet, but the cost of your license has risen much, Pinguinet is extremely friendly, simple but powerful, the price per license is very reasonable, at this time I am in the test DEMO and soon buy my license , I love PinguiNet but I have only one question how do I keep the Width settings Terminal? because when I open a session again I always leave it in "Use Window's Width" I hope the manual configuration can be saved. Thank you1 vote
It would be useful storing a credential profile (username/password) and recall it into a connection profile. In this way for the device with ldap authentication the user should change the password in one place only1 vote
In order to prevent wrong text pasting could you set up a configurable warning if the text to paste is greater than xx characters?1 vote
Would be nice to retouch the ui of penguinet for UHD screen resolution compatibility. Its completely useless with UHD.1 vote
Apparently, Penguinet is sadly not working with SOCKS 5 (Trying over TOR Network)
This is a high priority bug imho, forcing customers to use PuTTy due proxy.1 vote
Even version 2.70 of Penguinet won't connect properly to Dropbear as built for OpenWRT routers. No errors, says 'Connected', but no text output, typing does nothing.
That accounts for about half my usage, and using alternative SSH clients gets old really quickly...15 votes
When I press 'Enter' in the terminal, it's reflected twice on the Linux console (or uBoot console). I guess the host expects LF but gets CRLF instead.3 votes
When connection via Key fails and it offers to fall back to password, it could instead offer to
Install key or
Login with password3 votes
Allow connection window to occupy same Position. It keeps moving the next window until I have to manually move every new window I open in order to see the bottom of the screen.3 votes
After an update setup heartbleed and drown defeats, I can no longer connect to servers using Penquinet. Is there an update soon to address this?

I have this annoying problem, whenever i set the port forwarding (in order to use it as a socks5) I get this error : connection failed while opening a channel . hope somebody can help me cause pengui net is the only ssh soft that stay connected longer then 10 seconds... but can use the socks5 option :(1 vote
I would send you a pic, but here I can not. Instead of my pofiles I see some chineese letter. I even think I attacked by virus. Very strange.
It is computer at work, so I had no reason to think about virus here. It looks like hacked from outside. I even suspect somebody used it from remote.1 voteAdminsiliconcircus (Admin, PenguiNet) responded
You haven’t been hacked. It’s file corruption. What version of PenguiNet are you running?
Penguinet does not look good in Windows DPI scaling. Everything looks blurry.
Microsoft's recommendation is to turn off the DPI scaling ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2900023 ) but in this case, the text is too tiny to be read because of the huge resolution (4k display).
4k displays becoming more and more common and ppls turn on DPI scaling, this is a must have feature.1 vote
Using penguinet to ssh to a nexus 3048 running version 6.0.2.
penguinet succesfully connects to the switch, up to the point of actually showing me the CLI, then reports "the host does not appear to be running an SSH service on the requested port" and force-closes the session again.
Changing the switch or its config is impossible (its in a corporate data centre)
ssh to the same switch works fine with Putty
seems like some bug in penguinet intereacting with the particular behaviour of ssh on this switch hardware/firmware ? using version 2.70 of penguinet.1 vote
The old beheavor of Alt-W was to open the menu (Window), the new behavior varies.
If a connection is open, then it is closed.
If a connection is not present, then it opens the Window menu.
My muscle reflex when switch between windows was to Alt-W (1,2,3,4), however, that is now very counter productive. And there is no other way to "tab" between windows....3 votes
It’s a fair point. Note, though, that there are two other ways to tab between windows: Ctrl+Tab (forwards) and Ctrl+Shift+Tab (backwards) as well as Ctrl+PgUp (forwards) and Ctrl+PgDn (backwards).
first awful penguinet is an excellent tool. Exept the missing of port knocking possibility.4 votes
