When I am connected to a server I normally have a file upload window open and a telnet window open as well.
In the bar at the bottom of the screen it used to have a different icon for file uploads compared to the telnet window so it was easy to work out which was which.
A very minor thing I know but now have to flick through lots of windows when I have multiple connections open, please bring it back....
p.s - Apart from that it still is a fantastic program :)0 votes
Thanks for the feedback – much appreciated.
We are considering using “overlay” icons to allow you to differentiate what kind of session it is.
Is that what you had in mind?
When using midnight commander’s ctrl-o feature to toggle shell/mc the screen content is gone.
It would be really great if the screen content would be preserved like in putty.0 votes
Sometimes it happens that, by clicking with right mouse button on a terminal window, typically to do some copy&paste action, the Disconnect menu option is unadvertently clicked and the window flies away... with the whole session done til that moment. It would be nice to have a disconnect confirmation dialog, avoiding this annoyance (just try to happen during a vi session...). Or even a different right-click menu items positioning, setting the Disconnect at the top, thus making the issue very hard to happen.0 votes
